What's the "Trusted" in Trusted Helping?

That's right. No emails or phone numbers are entered for either those asking for help or those giving help. How does that work? How do they communicate with each other?

Actually, it's pretty simple. We have a messaging system that works almost identically with an email system. You fill out a form that looks like a regular Send (or the Compose page on gmail.) Users login to check their messages. Having said that, we do have an optional feature where you can request to be notified by email if you have message(s).

Another security feature: whenever persons asking for assistance fill in their request, it doesn't get put up in the database until the request is moderated. By a real person.

Further, we require that users read the pages "How To Avoid Being Scammed" and check off that they have read these pages, which show good ways to watch out for scammers or spammers
